Working Capital & Trade

Short-cycle capital against contracted flows.
Not every need is a five-year ship mortgage or a full ABL revolver. Operators often require liquidity against a defined receivable book, a cargo already on the water, or a seasonal inventory build. Primero Capital considers working-capital and trade-related facilities where the claim is identifiable, assignable, and collectible.
Product sketches
Freight and contract receivables
Advances against invoiced freight, charter hire, or other contracted maritime or logistics receivables, with notice to the account debtor where required and reserves for dilution, set-off, and aging.
In-transit inventory
Selected financing of goods in transit where title, documents of title or electronic bills of lading, insurance, and control can be established to the lender’s satisfaction. In-transit collateral is underwritten conservatively.
Vendor and distributor inventory builds
Seasonal or purchase-order-linked inventory facilities for importers and distributors with a demonstrated conversion cycle and a secondary-market or liquidation path.
Bridge to a larger facility
A time-limited advance that sits in front of a contemplated mortgage or ABL close, used only when diligence is substantially complete and conditions to the take-out are identifiable.
Principles
Working-capital facilities are not a substitute for inadequate equity or for unresolved title problems. They are a way to monetize assets that already exist. Documentation is shorter than a full ship-finance package, but security and reporting are not informal.
